I would like to welcome you to Browns Plains Little Athletics Centre for the 2024/2025 season (our clubs 38th year).. On behalf of the committee & its members, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to those of you returning from last year & also to those joining our centre for the very first time. I am the Centre Manager, My name is Alana Capner
This handbook has been prepared to assist in understanding & informing all centre members of our activities throughout the year, also to let you know your responsibilities as a member of Browns Plains Little Athletics Centre. I Would like to ask that you please read this book thoroughly to assist you with the requirements needed to achieve the various awards. Everything is not covered in this book but please do not hesitate to clarity anything with any of the committee & its members. Parents are encouraged & we are only to happy to listen to any suggestions that will have any future benefit to the conduct & running of this club.

Saturday mornings are very hands on. I believe kids should be supported & encouraged by the parents in activities their parents have put them in to. I would also like to hear of any suggestions that you may have that would result in our Saturday mornings running more effectively, on time & with as many helpers as possible.

Our supporters are very important to this centre & I would like to encourage all our members to utilise them as their ongoing support is priceless. You will see the supporter’s advertisements throughout this yearbook & on the back of the weekly newsletters.

I hope your stay with us will be a long & fulfilling one & that you will obtain as much satisfaction from the activities as the past Athletes have over the years. I look forward to meeting all of you if I haven’t already & wish you a fun, safe & exciting season with us.
